Before you write to us
To help us support you faster, please include:
- Your device model and iOS version
- The app version you are using
- A short description of the issue
- What you expected to happen
- Screenshots, if relevant
For issues related to barcode scan, product photo, or receipt import, it also helps to tell us:
- What type of product or receipt you were trying to upload
- Whether the app detected something incorrect
- Whether the issue happened once or repeatedly
How Grace Pantry works
Grace Pantry helps you organize what you have at home, what is running low, what is missing, and what you can cook with what is already there.
Adding products manually
You can add a product by entering its name, category, quantity, and minimum desired stock. Grace Pantry will automatically classify it as In Order, Running Low, or Out of Stock.
Barcode scan
Tap Scan, point your camera at a barcode, and Grace Pantry will try to identify the product. If it cannot match the code, you can complete the product manually before saving it.
Add by photo
Tap Photo to take a picture of a product package or choose one from your gallery. Grace Pantry will identify the main product shown, and you will always be able to review and edit it before saving.
Receipt import
You can upload a shopping receipt to speed up pantry setup. Grace Pantry will try to detect the purchased products, and you can review, edit, or deselect items before confirming them.
Recipes and shopping suggestions
Grace Pantry also helps you discover meal ideas based on what you already have and what you are missing. If a recipe needs more ingredients, you can add the missing items directly to your shopping list.
Troubleshooting
The camera is not opening
Please check that Grace Pantry has permission to use your camera in your iPhone settings.
A barcode did not match a product
Some products may not yet be recognized automatically. If that happens, you can complete the product manually and continue using the app normally.
A product photo was not recognized correctly
Try taking the picture in good light and focusing on a single product package. You can always edit the result before saving.
A receipt was read incorrectly
Receipt reading works best when the image is clear, flat, and fully visible. Before confirming, please review the detected products and remove anything that should not be added.
Subscriptions & Premium
Grace Pantry may offer free and premium features. If premium subscriptions are available in your version of the app, purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store.
- You can manage subscriptions from your Apple ID settings
- You can cancel auto-renewal through Apple at any time
- Restore Purchases should be used if you have already subscribed and need to recover access

Privacy
Grace Pantry is built with a privacy-first approach. Pantry and household data is intended to stay stored locally on your device.
Some optional features, such as receipt import and product photo recognition, may temporarily process images in order to provide the result you requested. For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.
